While walking or driving through the community of Olde Towne in Belville, NC, the discovery of houses for sale in this well sort after neighborhood is quite amazing. A few years back someone told me that it was nigh impossible to find one for sale at all in Olde Towne. It is a very established area with many of the original owners still living in the homes they had built for them in the early 1970's. Sadly some have had to relocate because of their job transfers to another state. But new families bring new experiences within the community that bring new friendships for sharing.

It is a community at the tip of Brunswick County in NC. One of the fastest growing counties you will find. Since new communities don't have the pleasure of having the protection of well established trees, shrubs and flowers, Olde Towne has all that charm. It doesn't have the fancy club house, swimming pool or gyms, but it does have the friendly neighbors that will watch out for you and your home without asking.

There is a little park within the community that has a play ground area. All within walking distance from most homes. The community holds many activities for the members that is well worth paying the yearly $24.00 fee to attend all these activities. It a community fee fully voluntary not a manditory HOA fee. Cookouts, children's parties, community directory, mall maintenance are just a few things that are included with the paid fee. Everything is done by volunteers. All that is asked is a helping hand when it is needed once in awhile for keeping the little park clean.
