Olde Towne Community Park clean up day
Olde Towne Community Park clean up day was a resounding success yesterday. We had 25 plus people in various ages came to help. Our usual faithful ones and many new faces. A lot was accomplished. Trimming, clean debris from around the tall pines at the new ditch, removing the mulched leaves and pine straw from the burn pile.
Bobbi, Trudy and Doug did a great job of painting over the graffiti on the picnic tables and shelter. Thank you to everyone that came. The help was very much appreciated. About noon the working stopped for the hotdogs, chips cookies and drinks provided by the Olde Towne Community and hotdogs cooked by Bobbie Fitzpatrick(Thank you). It is the community effort that keeps the park usable and our own small gathering area nice for children to play and have our parties.

Please, Please, Please remember when bringing your yard clippings to the park that there is a special pile at the back tree line for the leaves and mulch. They compose and not burn because they smoulder and smoke. If it disappears...START another pile at the back tree line.
