Some of the news I learn comes from walking around the community when I am able. During some in the past few months I've watched a crew trimming and cutting down trees. As most know I love to take photos and usually carry my camera when the opportunity strikes me.

I've watched this skilled crew take down a couple huge trees and I marvel at the communications between the person in the tree and the ones way below on the ground. It is a God given talent that allows this to go so smoothly. The owner of the company is Tony Rogers, who I am honored to know and learn is the pastor of Last Call Ministries in Winnabow, NC.

This is a 25 acre property for helping people in desperate situations. No matter the situation they open their heart and facility to people and family in need. It is a working campus where you must be physically fit to carry your weight with responsibility. They are funded by self-help projects, love offerings, churches, Christian organizations, individuals, businesses...you name it where the funds come from.

Our home is being warmed by the wonderful gift of a fireplace insert that he generously gave to us. He and his crew brought it to our home and put it into the fireplace. We are the warmest we have been in the five years we've lived in our home. Thank you so much Tony and workers. God blesses us when and where we least expect it.
