Olde Towne Community Oyster Feast 2009

A wonderful time was had by all that attended the annual Olde Towne Community Oyster Feast in the park. Pat Ashburner and Clare Heinz prepared for the occasion. Thank you ladies for all your time and effort you put into the occasion.

There was plenty of food to choose from. Oysters cooked by Geoff Ashburner, shrimp Pat cooked and brought with her, sausage dogs grilled by Clare with a little help from a couple others, with many side dishes of salad, fruits, deserts, cookies and more. Several children played on the play ground while adults enjoy conversation and neighborly visiting. There were 47 in attendance.

There was a short annual meeting with updating of the bylaws presented by current committee President, Stuart Smith voted on by members. Comments on the November election by Jack Batson our newly elected Belville mayor and Donna Schiderien commissioner, both from Olde Towne Community to take office in December.
