Olde Towne Community Crier May 2011
A Word from our New President
A Vision for Olde Towne
On May 10 I held my first board meeting as your president and I want to tell you we have some gifted people working for our community. I know we do not have a large association but as for me I am glad we don't have a pushy homeowner's bureaucracy. I know we don't have a pool and clubhouse and amenities such as this, but what we do have is a nice, secure neighborhood in which our children can play and grow and where neighbors can be neighbors. That's what I believe we need to focus upon at this point. Let's look at what we have and see how we can make it better. Perhaps your interest is in our park. If you haven't seen it, we have a play area for our children and a nice shelter. We have a basketball court and there was once a softball field and volleyball court. Everyone is interested in something so let us know what interests you and bring
your ideas for making this a better community. The more people we get involved in our community the better Olde Towne will be. My vision for Olde Towne is this: A Community where people know one another, care for one another, and work together to make a better place to live.
I hope you feel the same way and that you will partner with us, bringing some new ideas to the
table and getting involved to help our great community become even greater. Thank you for
allowing me to be your president.
