Olde Towne Community Oyster & Shrimp 2008

Today November 8th, 2008 we had our annual Oyster Roast. There was a good turn out. The fellowship was great. Donald Farrington grilled sausage dogs, Patricia Ashburner cooked shrimp and brought table coverings, pansies, and her husband Geoffrey cooked the Oyster's. There I believe 30 plus in attendence. If anyone did a true head count please let me know so I can revise this. There was a short Association meeting before everything began with President: Denny Kern, Vice President: Stuart Smith, Secretary: Bobbie Fitzpatrick, Treasurer: Beverly Farrington and Editor: Clare Heinz.

Again I took the photos so there are none of me, but here is the slide show of I hope everyone. Forgive me if you were there and I missed getting you into the photos. Or you are like my children and move around so you don't get into the photos :O)

More Vandlism in Olde Towne Community Park

We have been hit yet again by vandlism. When we were receiving the playground mulch Wednesday, Nov 5,2008, I noticed that one of the picnic tables had been written all over. The old picnic table was destroyed. The boards are laying on the ground. Here is a slideshow of the photos I took of the picnic table.

Olde Towne Community Playground has Mulch

Olde Towne Community Association had a load of playground mulch delivered November 5, 2008. We bought it at a very good price and delivered free. On Thursday, November 6th, Doug Fitzpatrick, Denny Kerns, Stuart Smith and Clare Heinz spread it around the play area. It looks great. I got there after Clare left so she isn't in the photos, but want to thank her for her help.

Olde Towne Community Childrens Halloween Party 2008

These photos and write up were provided by Andrea Keefe who hosted the party. Thank you, Andrea and parents for giving the children a great time.

The annual Olde Towne Childrens Halloween Party was lots of fun!! We had a great turn out with 19 in attendance. The kids (and parents) enjoyed games and lots of treats. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again in December for the Christmas Party!

I would like to personally thank Deborah Miller for all of her hard work! She was involved in planning, coordinating and food prep for the Halloween party. I couldnt have done it without her help!!
The Miller Family (Zach, Deborah, Mackenzie & Zachary) live on Brunswick Place and are new to the neighborhood. This was their first OT event. They will be a great asset to our community and we are looking forward to having them on board.
Thanks-
Andrea Keefe
