Free Disposal At Landfill in Bolivia only
FREE DISPOSAL AT LANDFILL:
Brunswick County’s Fall Clean Up week is Monday, September 14 through Saturday, September 19, 2009.During this week, Brunswick County residents can dispose of all materials, except regular household trash and land clearing debris, for free. The free disposal applies to materials brought to the landfill in Bolivia only; items will not be picked up with your regular trash service.
Businesses and those driving commercial vehicles and trailers will be charged the regular tipping fees. The four convenient sites will maintain regular fees during this time.
Landfill hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm.

Commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.
Saturday (9/19)Household Hazardous Waste CollectionThe Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Southport Wal-Mart from 9:00am to 2:00pm to collect household hazardous waste. Items such as used oil, old paint, cleaning supplies, batteries, etc. will be taken free of charge from residents of Brunswick County. Some items are recycled.
Saturday (9/19)Electronics RecyclingThe Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Southport Wal-Mart from 9:00am to 2:00pm collecting electronics for recycling. Items such as cell phones, PCs, radios, TVs, etc. will be taken free of charge from residents of Brunswick County.
Saturday (9/19)Clothing DriveThe Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Southport Wal-Mart from 9:00am to 2:00pm collecting used clothing. Items will be donated to Brunswick Family Assistance.
